Mozz
If this person has your address you should be able to post his address for a visit from Consumer Affairs or the RTA in his home State and if you think Dick (PACKER) head I am worried about you hassling me via this forum I have been threatened by the best.
P.S I'll give you $20 for the packer plate as I need something to level my kitchen table

Hmm,

He might have got a couple of dollars from all the Green Bay Packers fans in NSW.

Any cheeseheads out there? I think that's how they refer to themselves.

Well, I've really enjoyed myself here too.

NSW1 and Mozz: thanks, part of the purpose of what I will be doing with this thread in future is to explain to my students that it is sometimes *very* inappropriate to send messages to a forum when you don't know one thing about what is going on there. I'll be explaining, (in, hopefully a better way than this) that doing what Fudge did was about as appropriate as walking off the street into someone's front garden and hanging a leak there. So don't worry, NSW1, *your* posts will be coming out in a good light.

Doc: wins comment of the thread :rockin:

just pipping Ron1960 for his kitchen table remark  Seeing as most of us know where Ron1960 works ('cause we read our July 2002 newsletter): we can indeed empathise with his comment that he has "been threatened by the best."

Ah, dear, PACKER PLATE, we'll miss you. Can't wait to meet up with him again at a MSN messenger insult room in the future.

 :plateshed:

All the excitement happens when I don't get to the shed. Been on the tractor for 4 days and just got to check what's happened in that time. I'd pay my usual $3 to $20 that I would pay for a custom for the PACKER plate. Why would I want to put a Packer plate on my car ........ I'm not a supermarket shelf packer, or a stores packer or a fruit packer or one of the numerous other packers who would gladly part with more than $20000 to say what their job is. As most other posters in this forum have mentioned the other more obvious packer would be less than interested ..... he might give you $3 to $20 to put it in his bar. If you want to get money off Kerry you would probably do better getting a job as a dealer in Las Vegas

I'm going back to all the stuff I've missed the last few days :rockin:

:tantrum: I agree with you Leigh.

Just because we havent been around, doesnt mean you can have all the fun!

Spewin I missed this goose, I would have offered him at least $5 for it. Or swapped a mint Vic Garden State for it anyway.

I missed this thread while I was away helping my mom. I have to admit, it was FUN READING!

The irony is that IF it was a Wisconsin rego and IF our shortsighted government authorities ever actually let us own personalized numbers, some cheesehead (Green Bay Packers football team supporter) would definitely have coughed up $20K for that number!

Too bad for diamond packer or whatever his name was. Wrong country, wrong state, wrong investment. :nah:

They are absolute legends aren't they!!

The REAL meanings to some of their masterful sales points:

First time offered - only because this goose is the only person to have ever ordered it!

great investment - for who? for this seller

Would agree with my fellow Canadian Darce over there in PEI. Don't
know who would use "Packer" as it is as he says it is.

Customised plates like that one go for about $20.00 (a bit more with
the validation stickers intact). See' em all the time at plate meets
and "Packer" does have a hidden meaning. It can refer to the
Green Bay Packers NFL Football team, but wouldn't be running around
San Francisco's gay area with that plate on the car if you know what
I mean..

But a packer can also be one of these.
