Yes I remember Gerald and Patrick from my school days. When GAY meant happy and carefree or brightly coloured

If they don't fit any more, Johnc, I know a bloke who is very good on enlarging rings

I don't think the size of the ring would be a problem for Gerald and Patrick, at their age it would be the quality of the tools


Anyway, when I went to school it was Michael Fitzpatrick and Patrick Fitzmichael.

Although, that may have had something to do with the fact that a certain Fitzgerald family were prominent local 'businessmen' and the boys were amongst the school 'toughs'

While I'm not familiar with Gerald and Patrick, it's a rather novel idea for a license plate. If they have pro-life plates, then why not?

However, I'm not sure this issue would fly in bushranger's state, or any other US traditional 'red' (Republican) state.

Connecticut and Mass, it would probably work, both of those states have legalized Gay Marriage. California, quite surprisingly, shot it down with Proposition '8' in a referendum vote.
