Hi Plate shedders...
Workinga second job here in Busselton West Aus in the evenings at the moment which means I drive all around the town t 15km/h spraying mosquitos...so i get to see where all the nice plates live.
Found a great set this week...a set of the new NSW coloured plates...long way from home. BJ.6666, white on red, slimline front, full sized rear. Found them at the very end of 5km long dead end road along a stretch of beach....loverly.
Also found a truck with Tassie plates...complete with the little extra Carrier plate, and the area 1 plate...gee, area 1 must be big if it inculdes WA hey.
Beinga major holiday town, Busselton is great for spotting plates from all over the world..seriously, often see foreign plates here. Last ones were a pair of Swiss and a pair of Belgiums. Nice other non WA plates include a pair of Qld Indy cars, with slimline front.
WA plates, well, too numerous to mention. Saw a nice trio of WA shire graphics outside a house along the same stretch of beach as the NSW...00 DA, 000 DA and 0000 DA...nice.

Get those glasses checked as a New Year pressie to yourself Jeffrey.....NSW coloured plates are ONLY slimline - THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS A FULL SIZE REAR NSW COLOURED PLATE!
The front & rear plates are a slightly different size to each other, BUT BOTH ARE SLIMLINE compared to a standard sized plate, and you cannot get a standard sized plate in the colours.

Ooops,
Sorry Craig. Driving at such massive speeds as 15 km/h in First gear for 3 hours a night you just cant believe how hard it is to read the plates as you fly past them at breakneck speed, let alone correctly pick the size. Glasses wont help...I obviously need to slow down to a more managable speed next time I see a plate I like.
Oh well, better go and breath in some more of those lovely chemicals I am spraying out over everything....its obviously having the desired affect on my brain cells as well as the mosquitos.....

You are safe for some time yet...I have a request to go and fog the mozzies in Queensland, so i will soon be heading that way. I havent any requests to fog Melbourne yet..but I could swing past that way I guess.
But at 15km/h...its going to take me a few years to get across the nullabor. After all, I only drive for 3 hours a night from 6 to 9. That makes it as possible 45kms a night...
Oh well...back to my normal job doing tax, tax, and more tax on Monday...
